Encinitas Community Park

Encinitas Community Park Encinitas ChiropractorDiscovering a great new park that meets everyone’s requirements is a difficult task. A checklist needs to be used, and sometimes there are items on that list that are really needed, especially if all members of the family are involved in the decision. One park in the Encinitas area that is sure to meet all your criteria is the Encinitas Community Park, located just west of Interstate 5 and Santa Fe Drive. The Community Center is actually visible from Interstate 5. What could be more convenient than that!

When you are looking for a park that has it all, you are talking about Encinitas Community Park. From Soccer fields and Softball fields to a Skate Park and Walking Trails, there is something for everyone here. The Encinitas Community Park is made up of 44 acres surrounded by a landscape buffer and includes a meandering dry creek with boulders, dense landscaping, decomposed granite pathways and alcoves with benches.

And four-legged friends are welcome here too! There is a dog park totaling over 2 acres located near the western area of the park. The dog park includes a large turn area, dense perimeter landscaping, a show circle and an area for shy dogs and small dogs.

“This is the best dog park in the 50 mile radius. Respectable dog owners, all dogs and great park.”

“This is what all neighborhood parks would want to be, if they only knew a park could be this awesome.

The skate pool is one of the most fun pools around, with plenty of seating, and is even fenced off from the street course section, which is also awesome.

There are ball fields, dog parks, long walking trails, a playground, and lots of open grass areas to hang out, throw frisbees, or anything else you need an open area to do. They even have bbq grills and picnic tables.

When Encinitas built this park, they did it right! Best park in North County, by a long way!”

The best thing about this park is that it’s more than just a park. There are typical park features, but there is also a whole other world waiting to be explored. While you are roaming around, be sure to not lose your footing on any of the trails. Lucky for you, if any injury does occur, one of Encinitas top chiropractic offices is located a mere 1.5 miles north of the park.
